Holly & Ricky's Wentbridge Wedding Day
Holly & Ricky got married in May 2022 at Doncaster Registry office, followed by a fabulous reception at Wentbridge House Hotel. Their day was amazing from start to finish.
Why did you choose your venue?
We chose Wentbridge House Hotel as it was absolutely stunning from the inside to the outside as soon as we seen the rooms inside and how it was set up we just knew straight away that we wanted that venue to be our wedding venue.
What was the inspiration behind your wedding theme?
Well we changed our colour theme 3 times we went with grey first of all as if seen a picture of a grey themed wedding and loved it but then the suits didn’t match so ended up choosing navy but found that to be to dark so in the end we went with burgundy as the suits was navy with burgundy detail and found this a much better fit for our colour scheme.
What was the best part of your day?
The best part of our day I would say is getting married and finally becoming husband and wife but also having all our close family and friends to witness it.
If you could do it all over again, is there anything you would change / do differently?
We probably wouldn’t do much different if I’m honest as it was pretty much perfect although if we could do it again I think I’d go for a smaller dress as it was abit difficult to walk in haha
What advice would you give to other couples when planning their Wedding?
Advice would be, don’t stress or worry over the small things, it’s important to remember the day is about you two and nobody else and to make sure you plan at least 10 minutes with each other as it’s rather hectic once the days gets going! Our wedding day was perfect from start to finish and if I could do it again I would in a heartbeat! I’m so glad we choose Vicky to be our photographer as she is amazing! Everyone felt so relaxed around her and everyone after has said that the photos are amazing and she’s fab at her job!

My wedding dress was from Be Envied Bridal which is in Carcroft.
My flowers were fake flowers and was made by a lady called Adele’s Bride and she is located in Barnsley.
My makeup artist was Sarah Turgoose & she is located at Elite Collective in Sprotbrough
My hairstylist was Hayley Howarth from Serenity hair and beauty salon, also located in Sprotbrough.
I found my bridesmaid dresses online on a website called Ever Pretty uk
The groomsmen and groom suit was from tickled pink and the pageboy suits were from Roco clothing.
I would like to mention the company who styled our venue she’s called Helles Belles wedding hire. Helen was amazing from start to finish!
Our photobooth was supplied by Diamond PhotoBooth & they were amazing too.

Groom Prep
Some of my fav images from the Groom prep. I actually went out the night before the wedding to shoot the groom prep, as timings on the day itself were too tight.

Onwards to Wentworth House Hotel for the rest of the days celebrations. This is a gorgeous venue with beautiful grounds.

Holly & Ricky brought their dog - so he obviously HAD to be included in the couples portraits! Holly says Ricky loves the dog more than her!
