I have a confession. I bloomin' LOVE props! I have built up the cutest range of props for your newborn / baby session & I'm always adding to my collection. Read on for more info about each prop here.

Safety whilst using props is my top priority

Some people arent keen on props as they think their baby might fall out or fall off, but during my posed newborn sessions, your baby's safety is my priority at all times. If the prop is at all raised, I will ask you to ‘spot’ your baby, whilst they are on that prop by keeping a hand on them at all times or staying very close, while I capture the image.

Your baby is completely safe, warm, comfortable and snuggly at all times. All my newborn props are handmade for the purpose by reputable sellers from sites such as Etsy, which is my absolute favorite place to search for new props.

Vintage Scales

This retro inspired, classic prop creates a nostalgic timeless feel that references your baby's birth weight. We line the tray with soft padding to keep your baby comfy and I'll ask you to 'spot' to keep your baby completely safe, while I capture the image

Airplane

Crafted from natural wood, with rounded edges, specifically designed as a 'poser' for newborns, this prop features a hollowed out cockpit area which can be filled with cushioning for your baby to safely nestle in

Swing

This cute miniature swing creates a 'suspended' look while your baby is safely supported on a flat surface

Vintage Tub

This shallow, vintage-style galvanised metal tub is a 'bucket-poser' which creates a sweet, snuggly 'bed time' aesthetic, where your baby is safely contained in the props boundaries.

Curved Chair

This shabby chic miniature chair has a distressd vintage finish. Featuring chunky wooden legs & a curved circular seat, I use this with it's padded cushions for newborns, while you 'spot' your baby

Woodland Ring

This woodland ring is a 'nest' poser, designed to create an organic, nature-inspired 'frame' around your baby. It is wrapped in textured burlap and adorned with trailing greenery. As seen in the piccie, it's a great prop for capturing the sibling bond.

Wooden Heart

This shabby-chic, distressed wood heart-shaped prop can be used as a bowl or upright, with a 'spotter' to create a sentimental heart-shaped frame around your baby.

Dairy Planter

This vintage-style rustic dairy-milk 'bucket' poser is a great prop to get the 'chin on hands' pose. The interior is heavily padded with cushioning, while soft blankets create a plush ledge for their tiny chin. For this pose, we work together, as I capture the image, you'll be right there to 'spot' and provide hands on support ensuring your baby remains perfectly secure.

Bath Tub

My miniature clawfoot, white roll bathtub prop is a delightful prop to create 'bath time' themed piccies for newborns.

This is a specialised 'bowl' poser prop. We use internal padding and soft blankets to create a soft & comfy 'nest' for your baby, while you 'spot' to keep your baby completely secure.

Tea Cup

This miniature wooden tea-cup is a 'bucket' style poser, like the Diary Planter. Your baby can nestle inside the cup with padding, with just their head and their tiny hands resting on the rim. This prop is also great for sitters!

Wooden Chair

This low-set, simple, classic wooden chair has a wide rectangular seat, perfect for posing your newborn on a comfy blanket, while you 'spot'. It's also great for sitters & siblings.

Miniature Bed

This versatile miniature wooden bed prop is a staple in my newborn sessions to create a serene, sleepy portrait. Used for both 'top-down' shots, like the image here, and also 'side profile' shots where your baby is on their side, with their little hands tucked under their chin
