What was the best part of your day?
This romantic couple say 'Saying I do!' was their best bit of the day! The couple aren't the biggest fans of the camera so they wanted a relaxed, candid approach to the photography. They also chose a super-short ceremony so they could say I do as quick as possible!
Why did you choose your wedding venue?
The venue is a Grade II listed building, set in woodland. Founded in 1909 & lovingly restored for bespoke weddings, there's two large event spaces & ten intimate guest rooms. The couple say they chose the Pumping House 'as the venue is so unique - it truly is - & it was in a great location, as well as the team being so friendly'.
As a photographer, I absolutely loved this venue - It's like a museum. There's quirky bits and pieces everywhere!
What was the inspiration behind your wedding theme?
Craig & Heather chose an autumnal theme for their wedding & this suits the venue perfectly, as it is set in beautiful woodland and the leaves were on the turn for this October wedding. The burnt orange colours they chose are perfect for this time of year.
If you could do it all over again, is there anything you would change / do differently?
The couple say 'No; absolutely not'. They loved their day & it met all their expectations.
What advice would you give to other couples when planning their Wedding?
The couple say 'Do what makes you happy & not what is expected'. Great advice, guys.
Is there anything else you'd like to say about your wedding?
'It was the best day! Fun and exactly what we wanted'.
